What is SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT????

Social engagement (Bahasa : Jalinan Masyarakat) is a university core course, compulsory for all active students of University of Malaya (UM), specifically made to encourage the students to interact and engage with the community outside of the university compound. This course serves as a medium for the students to contribute to society by offering their servitude to a selected part of surrounding community, interact with the locals, engage and immerse into their culture lifestyles and so forth with the aim of exchanging knowledge and enabling mutual learning for the benefit of society.

Our Social Engagement OBJECTIVE.

               

To instill interest in the field of science among young minds by exposing them to various types of science disciplines (mathematics, chemistry, biology, physics etc.) through exhibition and practical lab session.
